Dr. Laino has been simply amazing since the beginning. I had a saw accident on a Sunday, Dr. Laino saw me that following Monday and operated on my fingers Wednesday of the same week. Dr. Laino and all of the staff at Ortho Virginia have been compassionate, engaging, and very thorough throughout the entire process so I knew what to expect next and how to navigate my recovery.

This was the first time I met Dr. Laino and he was wonderful. He took his time with me, presented the treatment options and put a shot in my finger with minimal pain. I couldn’t of been happier. If it doesn’t work we have a Plan B so I know what to expect which is nice.

Dr. Laino performed an ulnar nerve decompression on my left arm last year and ai had a wonderful result. Healed quickly and as he described. Minimal post- operative discomfort. Recently, he has been treating me for severe arthritis between the metacarpal bone in my left thumb and the trapezium. He has used guided injections and they help to relieve the pain. Eventually, it will require surgery. Dr. Laino is professional, well trained, experienced and personable. He spends the apprpriate amount of time with you and answers all of your questions. A top flight surgeon and a genuinely nice person. He inspires confidence in his patients.

Dr. Laino is by far the best doctor I have ever had the pleasure to meet and be a patient of. I first came under his care one and a half years ago with a severe nerve, elbow, wrist and hand injury. He is professional, knowledgeable, always very detailed in explaining/discussing options for treatment, and a skilled surgeon when necessary. Absolutely nothing but great from the first minute. Thank you Dr. Laino.

Dr. Laino is great— he’s performed two surgeries on me, and has seen me for a variety of other injuries. He is completely unassuming and carries zero “doctor ego “ with him, meaning you have his full attention, for as long as you need. You never feel like he has one foot out the door when you’re asking questions. As a testament to how humble he is, after my first surgery, he called my family POC himself to let her know my procedure was done, and that I’d be ready for pickup soon. He introduced himself only as “Daniel Laino” on the phone, not “Doctor.” How many medical professionals would miss an opportunity to call themselves doctor? Sounds minor, but it’s a perfect example of the type of humble professional Dr. Laino is. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
