Dr. Junick is actively involved in research projects at the New Mexico Center for Joint Replacement in Albuquerque and has contributed to the publication of various books and scientific articles. He has given presentations at national and international meetings on joint replacement. One of the vital contributions of the New Mexico Center for Joint Replacement Surgery and a primary focus of Dr. Junick's is research on the generation of important information to improve the status of hip and knee replacement surgery. Dr. Junick's other areas of interest and expertise include total and unicompartmental knee replacement, total hip replacement, hip fracture care, including periprosthetic femur fractures, and knee and shoulder arthroscopy.
