Dr. Ivankovich's bio

This content was provided by Dr. Ivankovich "During my 20-year career, I've focused on providing state-of-the-art spine, joint and fracture care to Chicagoans from all walks of life. I understand the crippling pain of arthritis that my patients suffer, having personally undergone thirteen knee surgeries myself. I've overseen 100,000 patient visits and provide specialty care for twisted spines, degenerated joints, sports injuries and broken bones. Having performed over ten thousand surgical procedures (which include spine and joint reconstruction, open reduction & internal fixation, arthroscopy and pain management), there are few surgical challenges that I can't handle. As a resident putting in 120 hour weeks at Cook County Hospital, I fought on the front lines to change the status quo, while transforming the lives of thousands of patients. It became obvious how our healthcare system short-changes people and their potential. So I co-founded OnePatient - Global Health Initiative . . to help make musculoskeletal health care accessible to all Americans. Throughout my career, I've worked hard to help patients regain their potential and reclaim the daily activities that make them happy. I've raised over $2,500,000 in committed grants and donations to helped establish patient education programs and expand orthopedic services at virtually all of Chicago's safety-net hospitals. You can also hear me during my weekly radio show on WVON/1690AM in Chicago and follow me on several web and social media platforms. I'm always happy to share my knowledge and provide feedback to patients seeking improved health & wellness. Here's to your health, Daniel Ivankovich MD "

Dr. Ivankovich is extremely professional and compassionate. Prior to my visit with Dr. Dan, I was told by another surgeon that nothing could be done about my wrist injury. Needless to say, that as a musician, I was frightened. Dr. Dan came into the room and made me feel at ease with a cool story...Read More

I've had an incredible experience being treated by Dr. Ivankovich. He is one of the most experienced and relatable surgeons that I have ever met. My back pain is 80% relieved just 3 months after surgery, and I'm able to do many activities that I simply couldn't prior to treatment. The staff is also...Read More
