Was very informative & He took a lot of time to go into detail what the surgery would entail. I was very comfortable speaking with him, he didn’t rush our visit and answered all my questions, I highly recommend him

Dr. Hunt has provided excellent care. I’ve been a patient of his for the past two months and have had several appointments with him and one procedure. If I have a question, I can call his office and leave a message and he will respond as soon as he is available. During office appointments, Dr. Hunt does a great job of assessing symptoms and explaining possible routes to recovery. He takes his time and listens to you. I was not rushed through the appointment and felt engaged and respected the entire time. It is refreshing to have such a great experience after having felt like a number in other practices that seem to care more about the quantity of patients rather than the effective care for the individual.

Saw several colorectal specialists over the course of many years. None showed the kindness, caring, willingness to answer questions and thoughtfulness of Dr. Hunt. He's so easy to talk to that I relaxed immediately. I finally feel safe and secure knowing I'm under his care.

Dr. Hunt is one of the finest physicians I've ever met. A great surgeon, smart, as well-informed as it gets, and just a terrific guy. If you ever need solo-rectal surgeon, you don't have to look further than Daniel Hunt

Dismissive and arrogant, terrible listener, and prone to snap judgements. I have a complex history and was referred to him in the ER upon admission. I have dealt with many *highly regarded* surgeons in his field, and he made a quick decision (that turned out to be incorrect), then referred all other communication to PAs & nurses. I’ve never encountered a physician - much less a surgeon- with such a self-important, dismissive attitude. He needs to acquire better objective analytical skills in assessing a patient’s condition (he sees everything through the lens of his own subjective experience) and to listen to patients, who just may have information critical to the situation.

My first visit with Dr. Hunt when he had to break some not so good news to me. His calm, compassionate manner made the news easier to take. He patiently explained to me what to expect with my situation and walked me through what the surgery would entail. I'm at ease and feel I'll be in good and competent hands.
