Dr. Hoag has always been great with my family.
Queen Creek, AZ |
Dr. Daniel Hoag is great! I have been a returning patient for years.

The staff here has always done their best to ensure you feel at home and are comfortable.
Glendale, AZ |
Staff never. Is on the me page. Takes days to get important papers done. Never returned phone call for days. Call after 3 days. And they have no record of it. All around bad communication. See doctor one time in three years. Leaving, sad office .
Rochester, NY |

Sherman Oaks, CA |

Gives you all the time you need during your visit. I never feel rushed. Great Dr.
in San Tan Valley |
When I 1st came to his clinic, I asked for an appt to meet the Dr and get a wellness exam. 1st appt available was 1 month away, but I could get in with NP or PA right away. I have no problem with either, so that's what I did. 2 years later, I still had not met Dr Hoag, didn't even know who he was. He has a very fast turnover rate for all of his staff. One time I went in and EVERYONE was new. He is friendly enough, somewhat egotistical and lots of rules like EKG every visit (over certain age).
in Phoenix, AZ |
Seemed concerned at the first appointment, ordered lots of labs, Couldn't get him to address some serious issues that were going on though, started me on medication then seemed confused and unsure about lab tests related to medication. Staff wouldn't schedule tests that he wanted done and phone calls always placed on hold for several minutes starting at beginning of call. Office manager rude and unprofessional, doesn't want to admit that her staff is not capable of doing simple tasks.
Queen Creek, AZ |
Was his patient for 11 years and he discharged me with a letter and would not speak with me!
in SAN TAN VALLEY |
Dr Hoag is through and has a great patient manner. He seems very knowledgeable. HOWEVER IS FRONT DESK PETSON IS VERY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL!! EVEN WHEN YHETE IS AN EMERGNCY TO GET CANCER CONSULTATIONS, SHE PUTS YOU OFF!!
Queen Creek, AZ |
Dr Hoag diagnosed me with stage 3 chronic kidney disease based on one test result from my wellness exam. He failed to disclose this to me as well as refer me to a kidney specialist. I only found out when i requested my medical records. I had to do this because his office manager informed me that I had this disease. I had called the office and asked to have Dr Hoag call me back regarding this matter, but he has not returned my call. You would think he would repeat the test or refer to a specialis

I am shocked and saddened by these poor reviews!! I've been a patient here for over 3 years and love this practice! Dr Hoag and PA Kari are patient, kind and thorough. The nurses are great too. I love that they make your follow up appt in the (private) exam room after the visit (not at an appt desk with everyone in hearing distance). They have always been timely with my appointments, and squeezing me in on sick days.
