Haven't had to see Dr. Heithold since my gall bladder surgery in 2014 but had seen him for removal of a large cyst on my neck and several skin cancers that required surgical removal. I will highly recommend Dr. Heithold for any problem that he would handle. He is very direct and honest with the patient and tells it the way it is.
in Harrison, tn |
Works on being rude and does no listen. Terrible doctor. Could not use him if he were the best. He needs a doctor. Said wild things like do or die or take your arm off to your shoulder if you do not do as he suggests. Did not even write a future plan for treatment. Does no follow up at all.
in Cleveland, TN |
He literally saved my husband's life. My husband had a pressure sore the size of a football and it nothing short of miraculous what Dr. Heithold and his team did. I am thankful every day Dr. Heithold was our doctor. I do not think my husband would be living today if not for the care Dr. Heithold gave.
in Chattanooga, TN |
My experiences with Dr. Heithold have been tremendous. Three years agony recommended that i have my gall bladder removed. I waited and waited. After some discomfort I came to see to him again and it had grown in size to the point where some options were no longer on the table. I committed to the procedure and on surgery day he greeted me at the hospital and we played together. I loved that!
in Chattanooga, TN |
My husband recently was diagnosed with gallbladder problems after coming through the ER at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. He was given a follow-up with Dr. Heithold who in turn informed him of the gallbladder issue and suggested surgery for him. Dr. Heithold's professionalism and bedside manner was great with a first time visitation. He informed my husband about the surgery, how he would remove the gallbladder and the healing period. My husband is doing great, up and around. Love this Dr.

I was recommended to him by my physician for gallbladder removal.. Dr. Heithhold was excellent.. I had no issues at all, he was very informative and caring..
in Ooltewah, TN |
I was referred to him by my urologist due to a hernia. I was able to get in and see Doctor Heithold quickly and setup a date for surgery. He performed the surgery and made sure that I was comfortable and had all of the medications I needed. I was very pleased with him.
Ft Oglethorpe, GA |
While i was in the hospital he didn't take the time to speak to the other surgeon about my care and wasn't allowed to drink anything all day for a procedure that never happened. Going home instruction were incomplete wasn't sure what to tell my job because I was allowed go back to work but couldn't drive and lift over 20lbs? That's 90% of my job. Boss let me take medical leave and worked some from home. Discomfort continued after first week, allowed only ibuprofen. Bedside manner needs help.
in Chickamauga, GA |
Would never recommend him to anyone. Horrible bedside manner told me to shut up in recovery. He also stated that he had wished he had not taken me as a patient because while waking up I was unruly. I could not urinate after waking up and he refused to admit me stating he had never had to and wouldn't start now. He was a jerk to my wife and I.
