Dr. Gay is fantastic! He has amazing bedside manners and compassion toward your situation. He got me help for my situation immediately and efficiently. He told me about the whole procedure, any complications that could arise, and what recovery time would be like. I was very well-informed by him. Surgery was easy and he did an excellent job cosmetically and medically with my procedure. I have been recovered for over a month now and I can finally say I'm completely pain free. He is an absolute blessing and I appreciate him working so hard on my situation.

I was referred to Dr. Gay and got an appointment much sooner than expected. Diagnosed with an inguinal hernia and he suggested a procedure (laparoscopic robotic hernia surgery) that would cost a bit more but would result in faster healing and less downtime, as I had a major vacation coming up 60 days after the surgery. His suggestion was the right choice as the hernia was much more extensive than initially expected. I was up and walking after I went home that evening. Bedside manner was just right as he was upbeat and positive. On my follow up appointment he was delayed 10 to 15 minutes due to train traffic. He called to let me know that he was running late. I can't imagine any current doctor doing that. Would highly recommend.

I was in the ER with a blood infection. Dr. Gay reviewed my condition and what caused it and rushed me into surgery. Before surgery, he reviewed what he was going to do to correct my condition. After surgery, he visited with me and informed me that the surgery went well and there were no surprises. He also updated my wife throughout the process. A day later, I felt so much better. Dr. Gay has a very good bedside personality, is upbeat and even a bit funny. Most important, Dr. Gay is very capable and looks for ways to achieve the best outcome with the surgery he performs.

I wish I could give him 10 stars. Dr. Gay is an excellent surgeon. He suspected my rare form of cancer before he operated. He takes time to make sure what he is dealing with. He checked on me every day after surgery. He is compassionate and forthright. I would highly recommend him.

My husband & I recently moved to AZ from California. I was due to have a colonoscopy and found Dr. Gay after looking at reviews. Dr. Gay was great! He was professional, personable and most importantly not rushed! His staff was great too! They were very attentive to every detail & even reached out to see how my experience was. His surgical staff at WARMC was excellent as well. They were very thorough with my prep, procedure & after care. I Highly recommend Dr. Gay and his staff!

he did colon cancer/diverticulitis emergency surgery for me in b.h.c. hospital. it went ok and i now have a colostomy bag. i was told a reversal was possible after 6 mos. but now he wants to send me to a specialist, probably in las vegas. in the meantime i have to deal with not only the bag but also with the rectal discharge which i have no control over and requires me to purchase and wear diapers. it is very very frustrating and i just want to be put back together as soon as possible. m.j.pedi
