Dr Fuchs has been very helpful throughout my entire ordeal with my ankle. It took over a year to find out what was actually wrong with it and thankfully he was able to repair my ankle with an outpatient procedure. He was was very thoughtful, clear, concise and took his time. He didn’t rush to get an answer, he really takes the time to find out what’s going on with your situation.

Dr. Fuchs recently preformed a Cartiva Implant on my right foot. He came highly recommended and I was amazed at my recover time and moved beyond 6 years of pain. He will always be my “go to” doctor for any foot concerns.

I suffered a trimalleolar fracture of my ankle and Dr Fuchs performed an ORIF within 2 weeks of my injury. I went to him for a second opinion after he was highly recommended to me. He is very intelligent and makes you feel extremely comfortable. He repaired my ankle and I feel I had the best care possible. He followed my recovery for about 10 months after the surgery. Rothman institute makes every visit and scheduling seem less and the staff is very professional. I highly recommend Dr Fuchs. In my option he is the best foot and ankle surgeon in Philadelphia!

I would recommend Dr. Fuchs to anyone in need. I saw 2 different Drs. Before coming to Rothman. Dr. Fuchs saw right away what was wrong with my ankle and acted quickly to repair it. I struggled for 7 months with pain before I saw Dr. Fuchs for a third opinion, best decision I made.

Had a calcium deposit on the back of my heal , that started to calcify my Achilles’ tendon , it was pretty painful for the last 4 to 5 years , finally on Dec. 20 , 2018 it ruptured , to make a long story short because of some misinformation at an emergency room , and a podiatrist ( not associated with Dr. Fuchs or Rothman ) I finally received official confirmation that it was a rupture on Jan. , 8th ,2019 , called Rothman , they set up an appointment with Dr. Fuchs on Jan. 10th , 2019 , knowing that time was of the essence, he scheduled my surgery right away (Jan. 16th , 2019 ) Everything from the original consultation with a true explanation of recovery and possible set backs was explained in great detail Here I am approaching my 5 month anniversary , and I’m in no pain , starting to have a bounce to my step again , and I hope to once again play basketball ( that will be next year ) Thanks again Dr. Fuchs for the amazing job you did

I put off an ankle fusion for 10 yrs, but when I realized that I was using a cane to just walk out the door and was in so much pain when I walked, I knew I had to go get it checked. Went to Rothman (who I trust...they did a knee replacement for me about 17 yrs ago) and met with Dr. Fuchs. It is about 5 months after my ankle fusion and am walking without a cane....and no pain. I trust this Dr. for any foot problems you may have. He made this "old woman" new again and I am so grateful. Thank you so much Dr. Fuchs.
