Great Doctor
I cannot believe that anyone could have a bad experience as I have found Dr El-Bogadi to be pleasant, professional and thorough answering all of my questions fully and within my ability to understand. He is one of the best doctors by whom I have had the pleasure to be treated. And quite successfully I might add.

The entire experience was amazing! The office staff was friendly and efficient. The nurse was talkative as she went about getting my stats and explained that next I would be seeing Dr El-Bogdadi's PA to go over my health history, recent symptoms, current medications, etc. Then after the PA had gotten all of my history and gotten the results of all of my recent testing; blood work, x-rays, and any past treatment, then the PA and Dr El-Bogdadi would both be in together to speak with me. The doctor asked me a few more questions and then reassured me that they would be going over all of the information that they had gathered and he was sure they would have a treatment plan to help me feel better at my next appointment. Even though I had been disappointed before by many other doctors, Dr El-Bogdadi's confidence has given me some much needed hope! I'm really looking forward to my next meeting at his office. Thanks Dr El-Bogdadi and staff for being so thorough in your examination!

I desperately needed a new rheumatologist who could handle my “complex“ case and help me to hopefully start feeling better. In doing extensive research I landed on Dr. El-Bogdadi‘s video on this practice’s site, and found it promising that he said he likes to solve complex puzzles like “Dr. House.“ It was refreshing he didn’t seem “overwhelmed“ by my case, and rapidly helped me to start on a rheumatological biologic that will hopefully help. He was the only rheumatologist of the three I consulted who took the time to explain his rationale as well as the risks and benefits of the new medication. I feel assured I am back on track with my care. It was worth the long wait for the initial appointment. I am deeply appreciative of his dedication and trying to help me!

I did not visit Dr.El-Bogdadi but he was the Dr. on call when I was having issues from a biologic injection on a Sunday. He told me I needed an EKG, and to contact my internist and ask him to order one. I did, and was referred to a cardiologist. Dr. El-Bogdadi called me 4 days later and asked if I'd had an EKG and what here the results. I had no idea I had heart issues. I think he is a great Dr. not only because he knew what I needed but because he cared enough to follow up by calling me again. If I ever change rheumatologists, I will be calling his office.

I have never been treated so off handedly nor condescendingly - with the exception of Dr. El-Bogdadi's associate. After 4 visits, numerous blood tests and two bogus consultations before and after, I have NO diagnosis... but was exponentially overcharged to sit in a waiting room for no less than one hour - each visit - again, with the exception of his associate, who made me wait 2 hours and 10 mins. I plan on taking this through every possible road to get a refund on what should have been a $17 visit that turned into over $100.00. Insult to injury.

Terrible bedside manner! He actually got upset with me for not being elated that I my diagnosis was fibromyalgia, because "this is such good news! If I were you I'd be so happy to know I don't have an autoimmune disease!" I use a cane, I can barely get around, I have to driven around, I'm in constant pain

Dr El-Bogdadi listens to what I have to say and advises me on best course of action. He is very easy to talk to. He spends the time with me and even walks me right over to the infusion center. He also ensures my blood work is uptodate by ordering my blood work before each infusion eliminating an extra trip to the lab. The staff at the infusion in Shady Grove and in Frederick are friendly and they get the IV in on the first try despite the fact that I have collapsible veins.

When I first walked into Dr. El-Bogdadi's office 3 years ago, he diagnosed me that day (which I later found out from other medical sources that most patients with antisynthetase syndrome are not diagnosed for three to six months from onset of symptoms.) After explaining what I had and what could be done for me, he started me on medications. Throughout these three years he has been an incredible support through all my ups and downs, always positive and encouraging. I have a healthy new life!
