Rude, talks and treats you like your stupid, appears to be waisting his time,or just doesn’t want to be bothered. Someone needs to bring his cocky attitude down a few levels. We’re paying patients, and deserve much better. We sure hope he’s correct with his opinion on a tumor (that everyone has it,etc), because if not, he’ll be hearing more...

After years of seeing a neurologist in Pensacola FL, trying to determine why I kept falling, being misdiagnosed, treated with various medications, I had an appointment with Dr. Dees, a movement disorder specialist. He diagnosed me with Parkinson's and while that's not what one would hope for, I now have a name for it and it can be treated! I thank God for Dr. Dees. He's everything I could hope for in a physician and his support staff is great (his clinic manager is always most helpful).

We had high hopes of finding a movement disorder specialist close. After waiting an hr for 10 minutes of his time, we were very disappointed. He is very uncaring and responds to questions very sarcastically. He lacks empathy for patients and family members. It is worth a 4 hr drive to visit a knowledgeable and caring medical team. Hoping he was just having a bad day and not the way he treats all patients as we were very disappointed in the professionalism demonstrated in this visit.

How fortunate we are to have Dr. Daniel Dees here in south Alabama! In fact, he is the only neurologist in our area with distinction of Movement Disorder Specialist . Before he began his practice, I was traveling to UAB in Birmingham. With my nine year ago of diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease, I feel competent in evaluating doctors. With enthusiasm, dedication, and knowledge, Dr. Dees answers my questions with thought and does not give "pat answers."
