I had to have 2 corrective surgeries from another nuerosurgeon after the 1 & only surgery done by Dr. Cochran. I have permanent nerve damage from what was described by 3 other specialists as screws that were to large for me & were not placed as they should be. One screw was broken inside my vertebrae, another screw had the tip sticking out of the vertebrae & was 'rubbing' on the nerve running down my leg. I c/o a lot to him, had several images taken, & was told all was fine. I hope he sees this

Excellent, he fixed my neck problem when all other neurosurgeons refused to try. He has a much higher skill than the older surgeons in the Mercy group. He also performs micro surgery when appropriate and my pain went from 10/10 to 0/10 immediately after surgery. I am a retired physical therapist myself

Dr Daniel Cochran is top-notch through and through. He was so worth the wait to see him (as a new patient); I’m relieved I didn’t settle elsewhere. I feel very confident in his treatment plans in my case, which he allowed for my input as well! just a great doc all around.

Dr. Cochran has a great bedside manner, he makes you feel (and probably tells you) that you are his favorite patient! He is caring, listens to your concerns and never rushes throug an appointment. I am grateful for the spinal procedure he developed and performed on me, it saved me a long and painful recovery. I recommend him heartily!

In June 2016 I was in an accident that fractured my sacrum and caused other skeletal issues in the lower spinal area. Essentially, as Dr. Cochran put it, the lower half of my body was separated from the upper. It caused severe pain and I was unable to move. Dr. Cochran performed surgery to insert medical hardware that bypassed the skeletal support in the area, and I was able, with time and therapy, to resume a normal lifestyle. In June 2017 he removed the hardware and I am now back to normal.

We met Dr Cochran one year ago this month when my mother in law was admitted to the hospital for a serious and somewhat mysterious illness. Dr Cochran told us up front the damage done may be irreversible but continued to work as if it weren't! He spent as much time with us as we felt we needed and tried to answer our myriad questions. She was transferred to other hospitals but the very best care she received was from Dr Cochran! He was the best bar none!! We are thankful God sent him to us!

I had 4 disks in my neck replaced from c3-c7. The intense pain I was feeling before the surgery was gone day 1. I am now 4 weeks post op and I'm feeling good. Taking it slow as is the doctors orders but making good progress every day. I am getting my life back pain free!

Dr. Cochran is the best surgeon I've ever encountered. His bedside manner is excellent, staff is all very nice and helpful, and wait time to see him at appointments is minimal. He explains in detail what the surgery entails, risks involved, any potential complications, etc., so you will be well informed ahead of time. In my case, he was in recovery when I woke up and talked to me about surgery. Highly recommend.
