Dr. Amaez became our cardiologist (also for my 97 yr. old Mom) after Dr. Galbut became unexpectedly too ill to continue practicing. We are glad to have found him. My mom with CHF is doing really well under in his care. His education, background, knowledge, patient care and manner are all top notch. Plus he's a very kind, likable physician, which I find an unusual combination in superlative professionals. To those reviewers in 2018 who complained about MSPB Cardiology making undesired rescheduling, shame on you. The schedule is NOT Dr. Amaez' fault and is NOT reflective of medical care. The schedule was thrown into unexpected chaos when Dr. Galbut became suddenly ill. All of his patients had to be covered by the other MSPB doctors. Find out what your talking about before you falsely whine about nothing.

Dr Amaez was very thorough with me. I was referred to him because of heart palpitations. He did the three major tests: Stress EKG on threadmill, Echocardiogram, and Holter monitor that you wear for 24 hours. He wrote his findings and we discussed them. He has a great patient manner and seem very intelligent. The only thought I had is that he is so young, and may not bring enough experience. But how else are you supposed to get experience except by seeing patients? I was surprised to see th

He became my Dr. while I was in the hospital. At that time they discovered some problems with my heart. I continued to see him after I left the hospital. I am 73 and still have to work to survive. I only work 30 hours a week, my employer gives me full benefits, if I don't work 30 hrs, my employer will reduce my status to part time with no benefits. He has cancelled 2 appts for the only times I can go. Nothing like adding more stress to someone with heart poblems. I will find another Dr.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to meet Dr. Amaze, I was hospitalized back in April for an irregular heartbeat in April of this year. I was given his name and number and each time I made an appointment the office would call me a week or two later to let me know that due to a scheduling conflict I had to call the office to reschedule. I had an appointment for the 22nd of this month and I just received a voice mail letting me know that I had to reschedule yet again. This is unacceptable to me..
