Dr Ikossi performed laparoscopic surgery on me for inguinal hernia repair. recovery was fairly quick with moderate pain for the first week. However, the repair failed and I required a second surgery which I decided to do with a different surgeon as I lost confidence in Dr. Ikossi and Laporascopic procedure. Second open surgery went well with a different surgeon and I would recommend open surgery over laparoscopic.

Without her care while my father was in the hospital, I do not think he would be alive. She performed a very high risk surgery, saw him everyday in the hospital, and when we had issues with the hospital care she stepped in and helped. She is a blessing. She even called to give us updated if we were not at the hospital when she visited.

She is an angel in desquise and we are so grateful for the gift and talant that God has given her! She saved my dads life a few weeks ago and has been a dedicated cheerleader daily since that day. She was honest about his chance of survival, and has done a wonderful job of taking the time to explain procedures and plans. She is more than a just a surgeon/Dr. she is a beautiful tornado with a ferocious drive to make her patients whole again.
