Horrible doctor. Callous, clearly has no empathy. He doesn't ask questions or review history. Rude staff. Avoid at all costs!

Dr. Craig Shalmi is the consummate professional. I came to him with a herniated disk in my lower lumbar region. Excruciating pain I never experienced before. He was quick to put me at ease and knew exactly what to do. In addition to being an excellent doctor, Dr. Shalmi is also a caring person. He took an interest in me and my progress, and saw it through to the end.

Dr. Shalmi is by far the most compassionate, caring, understanding Dr I have EVER dealt with. He truly cares about his clients and wants what is best for you. I am so sad he is leaving he Babylon location, there is no other Dr. like him.

worse pain management office. the office staff has no idea what is going on. the DR and PAS only want to do worthless and not needed procedures. all they want to do is collect money from you and your insurance. PA was very rude and disrespectful. wont recommend this office to anyone in chronic pain.

I don’t understand the negative reviews for this doctor. He is one of the most compassionate and caring doctors I’ve ever known. And an excellent pain medicine doctor. He is the only one I’ve had injections with and they worked. He doesn’t treat his patients like drug addicts since the “opioid crisis”. He understands that people with real pain need main meds. I for one am on to my third cervical surgery and I’m greatful to have him as my pain doc.

I suffered from a spinal headache after having an epidural for a Caesarean section. No one was able to figure out what it was based on my symptoms. I was in horrible pain. One of my nurses put a call out to pain management. Dr. Shalmi actually came to my hospital room. He knew exactly what it was and within hours I was in the OR for a simple procedure that provided immediate relief. I was able to be with my baby right away. Dr. Shalmi is an amazing doctor I wouldn't trust anyone else!!

Without question, the worst experience I have ever had. There is a pattern of lies in his office and staff. I've been billed for services never done! Shalmi is a money hungry doctor who is not looking to help anyone. Shalmi wants to treat elderly patients who are simply happy to have a physician. Anyone with common sense sees the scams he runs. The staff is rude, as if they are rewarded for being so. A wait of 1-2 hours is the general rule. THE WORST EVER! AVOID!
