Dr. Rodner is so nice and explains everything so that you can understand It and does not talk over you. He never makes you feel like you are wasting his time. He never rushes you when you have questions, so you may have to wait 5 to 15 minutes for your appointment, but you don't have to call after every appointment because he didn't explain something. The only time I have had to call is because I have forgotten to ask a question.

Dr Rodner performed basal joint replacement surgery on my hand in April, 2016 because I had extreme pain from arthritis in my dominant (right) hand. In less than three months I am virtually pain free and have regained use of my hand. He did an amazing job and we would highly recommend him!

I saw Dr. Rodner in March 2016 to evaluate hand trouble after surgery from another doctor.. He was really down to earth and a straight shooter. If I had known about him before my surgery I would have selected him hands down .. no pun intended ! .. well maybe ! lol! .. I've had several surgeries in my time and have had some great doctors.. If Dr. Rodner didn't just specialize in one area.. I would choose him as a primary surgeon.. I highly recommend him !!

Dr.Craig Rodner is so awesome and the hole experience and all the staff so awesome. Everybody at U-Conn Medical thank you for being there. All the staff in surgery so awesome, Mark,Melissa,Joanna and any other staff members I don't know your names. Also Cindy so nice. Dr Rodner is so cool talked to me like I was his buddy and we I could even make him and the staff laugh. Again I thank you all for going to school and doing what you do and being there for me when I needed help. Sincerely Rusty P.

Dr. Rodner recently reset my son's index finger with 3 pins. I didn't choose Dr. Rodner, all arrangements were made through my son's college. I could NOT have found a better doctor on my own. His bedside manner was beyond anything I have experienced since choosing my kids' pediatrician 20 years ago. He is thorough, patient, thoughtful and professional. I feel blessed that he is caring for my son's injury.
Middlefield, CT |
We first met Dr. Rodner after a family member (who is also in the medical field) recommended him. Our son broke his ulna & radius wrist bones and his ligaments were entrapped by a large fragment. Dr. Rodner performed a rare emergency procedure that was successful beyond expectation. We are forever grateful for Dr. Rodner and highly recommend him.

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
