What an outstanding doctor! He is very patient-oriented, effective, extremely knowledgeable, and even listens. I give him the highest rating possible. He is the best neurologist I have even seen. The Best!

Had to go to U of M, because Dr. Kuesel diagnosed me wrong with cluster headaches, when I had severe pain on one side of my face. I went to U of M where Dr. Shultz diagnosed me with trigeminal neuralgia. I had a red veining spot on my neck & Dr. Kuesel told me to see a dermatologist, but Dr. Shultz did more test & ordered MRI & CT scans.

I felt like Dr. Kuesel knew before he entered the room and examined me, exactly what my diagnosis would be and how he wanted to treat me. I have seen Nursing Students give a better exam than I received and he even knew that I was a nurse. Good to know he doesn't put on airs. I could go on and on about the lackadaisical way I was approached and examined. I had to wait 4+ months to get in to see him because my accident was auto related and he only takes 1 new auto patient a month. Quota met.

He has been there for both my brother and I. He accepts many people and never questioned me.

      Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
