I couldn't thank Dr. Johnson enough for what he has done for me. I had endometriosis that made its way into my rectum, and he literally saved my life! While in the hospital, he checked on me a couple of times a day; all while being very attentive, didn't seem rushed, and would even pull up a chair and sit by my bed. You can tell that he genuinely cares about his patients. Surgeons that are skilled, compassionate, and able to explain things clearly are rare. Johnson is one of those rare finds!

I had my 3rd bowel resection for Crohn's disease done by Dr. Johnson in Feb of 2013. His bedside manner is pleasant, even humorous at times. He was quite personable and clearly explained the surgery he was to perform. Since I'd had bowel resections before, I kind of knew what to expect, but he still explained the surgery. My first resection was emergent and landed me in the hospital for 9 days. This procedure was planned and I was out in 4 days. I would absolutely recommend him.

I put my trust in Dr Craig Johnson to perform my Sphincterotomy. I looked up all reviews online before choosing him. Soon after the surgery I began having terrible spasms which made me incontinent at bowels. Dr Johnson without even seeing me decided I needed antibiotics so he called them in. Now two weeks later im still calling him reporting the same issue of spasms and bad urine retention and without seeing me yet again he has decided antibiotics. I wish he would just see me to make sure.

Great Dr. Very rude and disrespectful staff mainly the financing lady. Lost me as a patient because of her. Much happier with my new Dr. and his staff.

Dr. Johnson is like the best ever. He found my problem. Which is called familiar polyposis and they had to remove all of my colon. Then take 20% of my small intestine and make a j pouch. I had a colostomy bag for 3months while it healed. Then did the reversal. I had a lot of issues with blockage because something like a simple hamburger if I didn't chew my food good enough, I would get a blockage. I recommend him highly, because he has saved my life plenty of time!!! He is a awesome Dr &surgeon

Dr Johnson is the best doctor I have ever been to. He did my hemmroid surgery, and although the recovery was absolutely the worst thing that ever happened to me in my life, Dr Johnson was there for me every step of the way, answered all my calls himself and fit me into his tight schedule no matter what. And even though it took a very long time to recover, in the end it was worth it because Dr Johnson gave me my life back and I will be forever grateful. God Bless Dr Johnson

Office wait time was very unreasonable and maybe that was a one time thing. Everything else about Dr Johnson is positive! He and his staff have the best protocol for colonoscopies, from the medicine they use to the check in/out for the procedure. Very easy and streamlined!

Dr. Johnson is an EXCELLENT surgeon. He is an expert in his field and makes the surgery process so easy to understand. His bedside manor is also perfect. After dealing with many specialty dr's for my UC, I was beyond frustrated with being thrown around. Dr. Johnson was always there when I needed him and I trust him. He doesn't sugar coat your problem but he manages to not sound horrible while doing it. If you need a surgery done on your colon, travel the distance and make him your surgeon.
