I have been to the office twice to see Dr. Hecht. He is direct and focused on his work. This approach helped me remember my questions that I wanted to ask him. He was also positive to me personally and kind.
in Wallingford, CT |
I was referred to Dr Hecht by my pcp. I was having pain on my left side on my neck near my larynx, trouble swallowing, shaking and tremors, weight loss, hot flashes, and night sweats. To make a long story short. I was misdiagnosed with GERD. I actually have Thyroiditis and currently being treated by an Endocrinologist. Bottom line if you suspect Thyroid problems, even if your pcp want to send you to an ENT...DON'T. See an Endocrinologist. Unless you have an extra $550 to waste.

My 22 year old non-verbal son with autism has been with this office since he was 17 months old with ear infections, multiple tubes inserted and now is seen every three months. Dr. Hecht has the patience and compassion and qualifications to give my son the quality of care that he deserves. I highly recommend him.
Hamden, CT |
Dr. Hecht has always been a wonderful doctor when I need to see him. Always friendly and listens, he's professional, genuine and always explains everything with you and doesn't rush you through your appt. He did my sinus surgery in 1998 and even back then I remember him making me feel comfortable about it that it was going to go OK because I was nervous. From the 1st appt through all my follow-ups he was truly wonderful.
Milford, CT |
Dr. Hecht was very kind to my daughter. He answered all of our questions and said that if we had any other concerns to please feel free to contact him.
Dr.Hecht was referred to me to compete a surgery. I was very nervous at first but I felt so much better after talking to him. He's very knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. He was also very honest with me and gave me realistic explanations of what my recovery would be. He did a fantastic job with my surgery and I did not have any complications. He made sure to explain what we he was doing the morning again and answer my questions.
in Guilford, CT |
I'm a 56 year old male and have to say Craig s. Hecht is the most unprofessional Dr. I have ever been to in my life. He would ask my a question about the issues I went to see him for and would not let me finish my answer to his question. Such a Buzzy man. After sending me out for some testing. I came back for a follow up appointment for some answers to my question about my health issues . He had no answers. He even went so far as to say. Any more questions you have for me I can't answer
Hamden, CT |
0 stars all around. Very mean, snapping at me and didn't even resolve my issues. He treated me like it was my fault that I was still having problems after his surgery. He gave me no reason to trust what he told me or that he had the skills or knowledge to treat me.
in Woodbridge, CT |
He did not allow me to speak, waiving his hand and talking over me when I tried to tell him about very relevant medical history. Prescribed a drug that was inappropriate for a person with my other medical condition. Second visit said literally only these words, "this will not drain, I need to punch through that and you need to know I could punch through your eye or your brain." Less than one minute appointment and then he ushered me in to schedule surgery. First sinus infection I have ever had.
