Spends time listening and explaining in an unhurried manner. I had 2 colonoscopies and EGD's performed by him and and I was very pleased with preparations, the procedure itself and aftercare. I didn't feel anything and felt great afterwards. He's excellent. I always recommend him to family and friends.

For some reason it got cut off. The secretary at the front window said that they had no appointments available and that they were closing. She then saw that I was stressed and scheduled a quick appointment for me. A+ plus for everyone involved.

Dr. Gordon has twice performed successful procedures on me even though I have old surgical complications. He is patient, courteous, and explains each condition in detail. The hospital staff was also very complimentary of Dr. Gordon.

Great doctor I cannot say enough about how professional he treats his patients.
in Houston, TX |
2 things: 1. Doctor Gordon was great. Very professional and I really looked forward to working with him. I went to him for some esophagus problems. 2. However....his billing staff sent my lab work to an OUT OF NETWORK lab. Therefore, what should have cost me around $300 ended up potentially costing me $3600. All because they did not use IN-NETWORK labs. Have tried to contact them but they will not return my calls. Who does this? So to summarize, CHECK YOUR INVOICE.
in Houston, TX |
Doctor seemed quite competent, but his staff is IMPOSSIBLE to work with. After multiple attempts over 3 weeks trying to get someone to return my calls regarding questions about my colonoscopy, I finally gave up, told them to cancel the procedure, refund my co-insurance, and that I was talking to my family doc about a referral to a different GI doctor. No one EVER calls back if you leave a message and if they tell you they will call you back with an answer they NEVER DO!
in Columbus, TX |
Dr. Gordon is extremely good. Caring and compassionate. Listens closely and does not rush. His office staff however ruins things for Dr. Gordon. It is very difficult to get to a live person. I got no return phone call from leaving a message. When I finally got through to a live person, they were rude and unhelpful. It is a shame for such a good doctor to have such a poor staff.
