Knowledgeable and easy to talk to about pros and cons. Explained surgical after care quite well. Liked his willingness to work with my other doctor to choose the best timing for surgery.

I just wanted to say how very pleased Im with Dr Nelson and Ross Uthe PA~C and staff. I received excellent care for treatment of my knee. They took care of my needs and went above and beyond. A special thank you to Erin and Liz for answering all my phone calls and sending faxes. I Highly recommend Dr Nelson for all your orthopedic needs. Dr. Nelson referred me to Dr, Shane Martin for a partial Knee replacement. Im so very happy with his recommendation. Sincerely, Julie C. Hough

Dr Nelson is reportedly an excellent surgeon. Although his office is run to make money with little regard to patient preference or needs. If you question Dr. Nelson about where he chooses to perform his surgery or the anesthesia team that he uses, he says that if you want something different he won't perform your surgery. Dr. Nelson prefers to do his surgeries at his physician owned outpatient surgery center when patient would prefer a hospital.

My son saw Dr Nelson for a broken collar bone from an ice hockey injury. He explained all the options and was very efficient. My son felt at ease and the surgery went great. Couldn't ask for a better experience. His PA Dr. Ross is also awesome. I would recommend Dr. Nelson and his team 100% without hesitation.

Dr. Nelson has done it again! After 4 failed knee surgeries, NOT performed by Dr. Nelson, I finally found this blessing of a man!! He performed surgery on my left knee in 2014 and my right knee this past August of 2016. I can honestly say with 100% certainty that he is the best surgeon I have ever met. He genuinely cares about his patients, his bedside manner is phenomenal, and he ensures you know what is going to happen, what is wrong with you, and the future plans he has for you. The BEST!!!!

He is a nice doctor, but the way he runs is office is all about making more money instead of making it easy and efficient for the patient. Again seems to care more about how much money they can make than taking care of the patients.
