KIND + PROFESSIONAL
Before I even met Dr Calendine, I was impressed with the new facility and very updated technology! This is what I was comfortable with/used to in the city and state I recently moved from. Dr Calendine was kind, professional, and very relatable. He answered all my questions and am confident in proceeding ahead with surgery.

Best First Visit EVER!
Saw Dr. Calendine yesterday for the first time. He was HIGHLY recommended by my rheumatologist. I absolutely LOVE his philosophy of letting your body (not xrays and tests) dictate actions taken! He really listened to everything I was telling him I was experiencing. He took time to concentrate on ME and did not seemed rushed, like he needed to get on to the next patient. His staff was amazingly helpful, considerate and also seemed fully engaged with ME and my needs. I also love that they make full use of technology for communication regarding your care from the online patient portal, to text messaging, to their website with great resources and information... I also waited less than 10 minutes before being seen, and was called in exactly at the time of my appointment. THIS practice is what EVERY medical provider should strive to be!!

Thankful for the suggestion to see Dr. Calendine
In April, while looking at new mattresses in Dickson, I had a random conversation with the owner about knee surgeons. She told me about her surgery and how happy she was with Dr. Calendine. I did my own research and decided to take a leap of faith and make an appointment online, which was super easy. I had my first appointment with him last Friday. I was nervous going in but left feeling completely at ease. Dr. Calendine was kind, listened to my questions and concerns and together, we came up with a game plan that I’m comfortable with. Knowing that knee replacements are in my near future, I wanted a surgeon who didn’t see joint replacements as all being the same. In my research, I watched one of his reels concerning hip/knee replacements where he says, “You would think that they all start to look the same. That is not true. The more I do, the more different they all feel. So actually, I get better as a surgeon and I see how different they all are.” Yes, he’s def now my new doctor!!

All the staff was professional and extremely pleasant. There was no wait time, and the exam went smoothly. I explained my symptoms, Dr. Calendine examed my knee and immediately knew what was wrong. He could have lined his pockets by recommended surgery; instead, he recommended a steroid shot to see if it corrected my concern rather than put me through unnecessary surgery and debt. His ethical and moral values are what make him exceptional.
