I saw Dr Trease for a second opinion about my need. He said I didn't need a full knee replacement. Instead he recommended a partial. I'm glad I saw him instead of going through a complete knee replacement. He did my surgery as the sam day surgery place in Saint Joseph. I'd recommend him highly.

He can be very direct in his words. Maybe that is what others mean by discrimination. He told me that my weight is partially responsible for my knee pain and that weight loss needed to be incorporated into our treatment plan. Ya know what? The fact is that my weight is responsible for most of my knee pain. Nobody has had the guts to tell me that before. I appreciate his honesty. Kind caring and professional in my opinion. Don't go to him if you can't handle the truth.

I had carpal tunnel syndrome so bad that I couldn't sleep. Dr Trease made that go away with a scope carpal tunnel surgery through a single tiny incision. He specializes in that surgery. Anyway my hand felt better the very first night after surgery. He let me go back to work right away. I couldn't be happier.

I saw another doctor that wanted to do a complete knee replacement on me and saw Dr Trease for another opinion. He told me that I was a candidate for a partial knee replacement as well and which surgery I chose was up to me but he recommended a partial. I had him do a partial and I could not be happier. It was much faster recovery, less therapy and was outpatient surgery. I went home 2 hours after my surgery was done. I couldn't be happier.

I have never had a doctor as rude as Trease and visibly show he didn't care. As I was explaining when my knee problem started he seemed annoyed that I was taking up his time. Time that I paid $75 for & received maybe 5 minutes. Bottom line all he would say is there is nothing that can be done. The only way to ease the pain would be to lose weight. Yes I knew going in he would say to lose weight but to take one look at me & decide I was a waste of his time. Discrimination...the answer is yes!!!

Dr. Trease is amazing. He listens. He explains. He is straight forward and he takes the time to address any concerns you have. I had double carpal tunnel surgery and was out of bandages in 3 days and driving in 7 days. He alleviated my fears over an upcoming neck surgery as well when he didn't have to take the time to do this. I can't say enough kind things about Dr. Trease.

I saw Dr Trease over a year ago now. I chose him for reasons similar to all mentioned in earlier reviews. I had family and neighbors that had seen him for various reasons and all had good and kind things to say. My experience was anything but.. Sadly the legal definition of discrimination was met in every aspect of my visit with him. I know he is a better doctor than he was to me.. More importantly I know he is better person. I can not suggest him to any one though with what I went thru.

I decided to see Dr Trease for my shoulder because he is the only one in Saint Joseph that is board certified in 2 specialties. A google search on him also showed that he has written 3 journal articles so I had great confidence in him but assumed that maybe his intelligence would make him stuffy. Boy, I was wrong. Not only is he really smart, he is a very down to earth doctor.

I injured my knee while playing softball. Dr Trease's office has a walk in clinic and was able to be seen the same day that I injured it. I didn't even have to wait to get an MRI. Dr Trease took excellent care of me. His bedside manner is fantastic. Honest and straight forward. I'd recommend him to anyone.

I went to see Dr Trease after 2 doctors tried to remove a painful cyst from my leg. He immediately knew it wasn't a cyst but was a muscle hernia that was pushing on a nerve on my leg. He did surgery on my leg and now I am pain free. I am so grateful that he helped me and spent so much time explaining everything to me. There should be more doctors like him.
