I would recommend Dr. Mudrick for anyone needing a hip replacement without any hesitation. Extremely professional, highly skilled with the anterior approach total hip replacement procedure that he performed on me, explains the procedure completely, answers any and all questions appropriately. My recovery has been fantastic now one year from surgery and my hip feels better at age 61 than it did in my mid-to-late fifties.

Dr. Mudrick was very easy to work with and understand. He explained my left total knee replacement to my satisfaction and what to expect in the days afterwards. He answered all my questions prior to and after the procedure. He was never rushed and seemed to genuinely care about me. The care I received was top notch and the experience, excellent! I was very pleased with the outcome and the care provided. I would recommend him to anyone for this procedure!

Dr Mudrick performed a perfect hip implant surgery in July 2018. Immediately I had issues with pain which continued for months to come. Each time I came I I felt as though I was progressing but I still had pain which was never addressed. I was not given paid meds nor did I ask for them. I didn’t understand why after so long this was happening. Each time I met with him and his staff I felt as though I wasn’t being listened to. I had enough, so last week I had lab tests done. I called repeatedly to check on the results I was told by his nurse Amanda that once received I would be notified. I am still waiting and wondering. I then decided to make a change and scheduled an appointment with another ortho who immediately diagnosed tissue/muscle issues. Awaiting the MRI to treat. I was so fearful that I would need to have a second surgery and Dr Mudrick’s office failed to communicate which increased my anxiety. Again, great surgeon as long as you don’t have complications.

Dr. Mudrick is very attentive and genuinely cares about me and my condition. I have no complaint about him AND he called the night before surgery to check on me. The hospital staff was very complimentary of him as well. We will refer family and friends to him for orthopedic care.

I am an Orthopedic Physician Assistant with more than 12 years of direct Orthopedic experience. Unfortunately at a very young age I developed severe hip arthritis. I am a very active individual participating in sports and outdoor activities. I used unconventional research to find Dr Mudrick. I contacted friends that were nurses and physical therapist that work directly with him and all of which gave me rave reviews about his work. Finally I met with him in person during my first visit and I was totally impressed. My surgery was flawless and everything about my experience was fantastic. His bedside manner is amazing. I was well-informed and follow-up care was also excellent. I have nothing but good things to say about what he does.

Dr. Mudrick saw me right away and upon looking at my xrays determined that I needed immediate surgery. His staff set the surgery in motion and from the time I initial saw him to the operating procedure was less than a week and I am totally satisfied with the results of the operation and follow up. His bed side manner was exceptional and so was St. Francis Hospital and its staff. Time spent at hospital and at home physical therapy was also very good.

Was extremely satisfied with Doctor Mudrick and entire staff. Called before surgery to check and see how i was doing and if i had any questions before surgery. Day of surgery he was in total charge of his staff. he came in to pre op and put me at ease and let me see everything and then i hurt no more!!!!!!!!!! If i had any idea how good the feeling was i would have done it a year sooner. The only small thing was checking out of the hospital But overall hospital was good.

I saw Dr. Mudrick, knowing all of my knee pain and symptoms pointed to meniscal tears. He said it had nothing to do with my meniscus and was my hamstring. My ACL ended up tearing 6 months later after a fall. Went to a different practice to surgery for reconstruction and sure enough, needed MCL repair.... very frustrating that he wouldn't listen to my symptoms and pain. Go somewhere else.
