I highly recommend Dr. Harper if you're in search of a top grade doctor and surgeon. I've been under his care for my Diabetic Retinopathy since 2008. The staff is professional and very friendly. Great medical office atmosphere! The office location at 801 West 38th Street (Ste. 200) recently went through a wait lobby remodel and it's awesome esp, with the addition of a large flat screen HDTV that shows ambient nature scenes of canyon landscapes and creeks, mountain creeks, and waterfalls...

Dr. Harper is outstanding in all areas. I recommend him highly.
in Round Rock, TX |
I developed signs and symptoms of a detached retina on a weekend.. After Dr. Harper was contacted by my ophthalmologist, he arranged to meet me on a Sunday afternoon at his downtown Austin office. I definitely felt this was an emergency as I was very concerned about losing my eyesight. After examining me, he set up surgery for the next day. He certainly helped lower my panic level. The operation was a total success and his follow up was outstanding.
in Georgetown, Tx |
I recently underwent retinal repair laser surgery by Dr. Harper. Although I had to wait for about 45 minutes before I was brought back to the first technician, the wait was worth it. Dr. Harper is very focused on what he is doing and has assembled a very qualified staff and very busy practice. I was worried about pain from the laser retina repair, but there was virtually none. Once he gets inside the eyeball he moves quickly to finish the job and finish it skillfully. Excellent physician!
