I had a great experience with Dr. Marlar and his team (along with St. Thomas West Hospital). I had a Laproscopic sigmoid colectomy with a 4 day hospital stay. The surgery went exactly as discussed with Dr. Marlar. The recovery in the hospital and the subsequent recovery at home also went exactly as discussed. There were no complications. He answered all my questions prior to surgery. Would definitely go and see him again if necessary. Likewise my stay at St. Thomas West went very well!

Dr. Marlar is great for patients like me that don't want to waste time - he's incredibly efficient and informative, but office visits are FAST. Know what you want to ask ahead of time or don't hesitate to speak up during the exam. He was courteous, but he's not going to ask you how many kids you have or where you grew up - he's a surgeon and he's there to do surgery. I loved my experience with Dr. Marlar, and his staff was fantastic - very responsive to phone messages and questions.

I have used Dr. Clinton Marlar for two surgeries one in 2013, one Jan 2016. Two totally different problems. This last one was a major surgery. Both surgeries were good outcomes without complications. Dr. Marlar is very efficient, professional, knowledgeable and straight forward. I have a lot of trust in Dr. Marlar and have heard a lot of good about him. I would use him again or recommend him. He is the BEST. Karin L
