I was referred to Dr. Dean by my Primary Dr. who works for the same office. Dr. Dean did not want to help me. seemed like I was wasting his time. he asked why I am seeing him. went twice because I still have a problem and he was even ruder the 2nd time. not once had he even gave me a exam. he told me he is a surgeon and I don't need surgery so why am I here? last time I checked he works for the MD spine center and I am having a problem with my spine... that's why I am there! he is totally rude

Referred to Dr. Dean by Dr. Ciotola for neck fusion. This was my 1st surgery with Dr. Dean, but my 5th neck surgery. Dr. Dean & Dr. Ciotola were very Confident that he could get me feeling better. He was extremely Caring & understood my excruciating pain. The Entire Spine team, from reception, PA's, Nurses & Coordinators were All Amazing!

Dr. Dean is by far the best surgeon, there is out there when it comes to bedside manner as well as answering and explaining any questions that you have. I had lumbar surgery (L3). When I woke up in recovery and was asked to get up and walk. I could walk without any pain. The pain was so excruciating before the surgery, I thought nothing would make it better. I would recommend Dr. Dean, without hesitation.

My 27 year old daughter sees Dr. Dean for lumbar disk issue. We went today to consult and decided on surgery, spinal fusion. Dr. Dean explained everything well. As a mom I had tons of questions and he answered them all. He never seemed impatient, explained all the options, gave us time to decide. This has been a long year trying other options but surgery is a big decision and he was understanding of our reservations. Surgery scheduled for next week, pray this is beginning of end of her pain.
