"Gastroenterology allows me to utilize advancing medical and surgical technologies to often make an immediate, positive intervention into a patient's health. It also allows me to help manage chronic GI diseases to improve a patient's quality of life. I enjoy the satisfaction of helping others feel better. Patients can expect an empathetic and listening ear, coupled with a broad comprehension of GI disorders and their most current treatments. I believe in using endoscopic technologies to expedite diagnosis and management of disease. I believe in using chronic medications only as absolutely necessary and validated in medical literature. I believe strongly in the patient's role and personal responsibility in his or her own care. I hope to give my patients thorough, high-quality, evidence-based care. I give them empathy and encourage them to take a leading role in the success of their own treatment plans."
