Dr Smith showed my daughter a great deal of compassion and care regarding her injury. As as college athlete and almost 6 months into a serious back injury, he is the only doctor who has put a treatment plan in place and general time line to get her back to doing what she loves.

Dr. Smith is an excellent Physiatrist! He's smart, compassionate and spent a great deal of time with me explaining my condition and a treatment plan. I walked in in so much pain but when I left I felt very hopeful. I recommend him highly!

I would not recommend him. He is curt and rude and will not tell you what is wrong with you. If you have pain, he will not give you any pain medication. I went to him for two problems: pain in the knee and then one month later for hip pain. He did not tell me what was causing the hip pain and the pain got worse so I went to see him a week later and asked him what was causing the pain. His answer was I should find another doctor. Very strange remark when I asked him what was causing it.

Portland, OR – Feb 02, 2016
Dr. Clark C. Smith is a very good, and compassionate doctor. People notice how much my walking improved in less than two months, and are asking for Dr. Smith's card/information. I have a long way to go yet to undo damage by (other) doctors who kept me immobile, and in pain three years. I definitely recommend Dr. Smith or anyone he refers you to.
