He is trained but a very notepad and pen oriented approach empty of major feedback. He has a mostly agreeable presence but can be very condescending and what I thought to be a somewhat judgemental approach despite the patients struggles. Never validated verified experiences to the patients story and remained too aloof. Overall, I'm not sure he helped me but was necessary and calming in an emergency life chapter.

If you are fortunate enough to get Dr Perry as a provider for your child you are in the best hands. He has put his time in the trenches working with some of the most troubled youth in NYC. He brings knowledge and experience that is hard to find in adolescent private practice. I read some of the other reviews, I could care less what the office decor consists of or how he doesn't want to help someone with their TV agenda. He is a great, level headed, understanding physician and my child gets the best care and THAT is what I care about. Thank you Dr. Perry.
