I'm 28 years old with RA, and this is the worst practice I've ever experienced. I've never missed an appointment, and Dr. L. Armstrong still does not refill my required biological medication. I called 4 days ago, spoke with front desk personnel, she states that she would fax refills to my pharmacy. I also had my pharmacy fax over a refill request. I have called my pharmacy for the past 2 days and they have not received a refill from the Doctor. I've called NFR everyday and no answer. I'm livid

Dr. Lopez-Armstrong is a very caring doctor. She listens to all health concerns involved with an auto-immune disease. She is willing to look at non-traditional treatments and discuss them--all the pros and cons and then gives her best medical advice. I've seen 4 Rheumatologists since I moved here 35 years ago, 3 of them retired & 1 died. It was difficult for me to think about starting with another doctor, until I met such a caring physician. You may have to wait a bit, but she's worth the wait!

I have been seeing Dr. Armstrong for over 15 Years. She is patient, kind, loving, and very concerned about her patient's health. She has helped me tremendously! There is a wait time to see her, but she will spend as much time as necessary to address her patient's needs. I make an early morning appointment and relax while waiting. She is worth the time.

Dr Armstrong first of all was very caring, knowledgeable, and very patient and a great listener. I am profoundly grateful because she was able to diagnose and care for my arthritis problems. I give her an A!!
Alpharetta, GA |
I arrived 8 min before my appt. I was there for a total of 3 hours and 23 minutes and my face to face with Dr. Lopez-Armstrong did not exceed 6 minutes. In waiting room for 97 minutes. Other patients were there as well. One patient did make 2 demanding requests and was finally called back. However, if you were a pharmacy rep or planning a lunch for the office, you got right in w/o an appt. Absolutely no respect/consideration for patients, none. Then MRI order had erred diagnosis.
in Roswell, GA |
Dr. Armstrong is very caring and interactive with her patients. She does run late but takes the time to address problems and questions. Her office staff advises patients of her wait time prior to scheduling a new patient appointment.
in Woodstock, GA |
Would never recommend her. One hour sitting in waiting room and only one of many sitting there had been called in. No respect for patients. I left after the first hour she it was obvious I'd be there at least another hour or more. First and LAST visit to her.
Alpharetta, GA |
Dr. Armstrong has no respect for her patient's time, I have been made to wait an hour in the waiting room and then an additional 20 min once taken back. I have been the first patient of the day but still had to wait 45 min because she had not arrived to the office. Dr. Armstrong failed to offer all treatment options for my condition and is flippant regarding patient concerns. The office is shabby and suffers from a lack of investment. The atmosphere is chaotic and unhappy. Bad practice.

Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
