GOAL AND VISION: Our goals at Central Virginia Perinatology are to: 1. provide excellent, up-to-date and evidence based consultative Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) care to pregnant and non pregnant women of child bearing ages at high risk for obstetrical and medical or surgical complications during their pregnancies; 2. provide a local and readily accessible consultative MFM practice to primary OBGYN providers and their patients in our community and referral areas; 3. achieve the best maternal and fetal outcomes possible; 4. counsel patients regarding realistic expectations of their pregnancy course and outcomes and provide support when adverse outcomes occur; 5. collaborate with neonatology and other adult and pediatric specialties to achieve coordinated and seamless patient care. We strive to provide this care in an individualized, supportive, professional and compassionate manner. Patient and family participation is expected and encouraged.
