Dr. Yasenchak correctly diagnosed me with CML in November 2014. Under his care I have been in complete remission for seven years. He is an excellent doctor- sympathetic, caring, takes as much time as you need during visits and it’s always a bright spot in my day when I have an appointment with him.

Dr Yasenchak has been one of the best Dr I have ever had. When you find out you have cancer it’s such a life Changing time in your life and Dr Y and his whole staff were so good to my family and my self. They are the real hero’s in life and he saved my life. In life you don’t wish cancer Or bad health on anyone but if I hear of someone that ends up having cancer I always share how I received the Best/Honest/Caring treatment with Dr Y and his staff. They treat you like a real person not just paycheck like some Drs. I am alive today to enjoy my two beautiful boys and my wife because of his dedication and hard work. Our community is blessed to have a Dr of this caliber to be serving us.

I am a 12-year Leukemia survivor. Of primary importance to me is having an oncologist who knows me as a person, who listens to my concerns and understands them. Dr. Yasenchak always takes time during office visits to review my labs and answer my questions. I've never once felt like a "number" to him and in fact, his reassuring manner makes me feel like I'm his only patient. For me, Dr. Yasenchak is a perfect fit. I recommend him unconditionally.

Dr. Yasenchak is perhaps the finest person I have ever known. He is kind, caring, empathetic, funny, and optimistic. As a physician, he is always professional, but always kind ~ his knowledge base seems boundless; he's generous with his opinions and always explains so I can understand, offers to get more information or make referrals or find answers. The care I got from him was world class. Appointments with Dr. Y were always a good experience for me. I owe my recovery from lymphoma to him and I will be forever grateful. I was not sorry to see the cancer go, but I am sorry not to see Dr. Yasenchak every few months any more. He's a joy to know.

Dr. Yasenchak is concerned about my quality of life. At our first meeting he told me, "You will have this disease the rest of your life but you will not die from it." With his guidance I went from walking with crutches to healing the holes in the bone of my right pelvis to walking with a cane and then with no support at all. Eight months later I achieved my goal at that time - giving a 45 minute presentation without supports during my solo show at Fountainhead Gallery in Seattle. Dr. Yasenchak continues to allay my fears and keeps me focused on which numbers in my blood work are most important to watch. In addition to discussions about developments in cancer research, we share news of our families. As my breast cancer marker has fallen to within a normal range, I am hopeful about the future.
