Patient satisfaction ratings and reviews are based on personal opinions. Before you choose any doctor you should take into account their background, training, specialized experience AND their patient satisfaction to ensure they are the right fit for you.
I am originally from Buffalo, NY and came to the Chicagoland area in 1995 in order to do my ophthalmology training at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. I finished my training in 1998 and was hired by Northwest Eye Physicians. I have learned to do LASIK and many other procedures including laser floater removal since that time. I now reside with my wife, two boys, and our dog near the practice. I enjoy playing music with a local orchestra and am an active member of Rotary International.

This content was provided by Dr. Wood "I strive to provide complete eye care with the latest technology. My staff is caring and competent in all aspects of eye examination. We have convenient evening and weekend office hours to accommodate every patient's schedule. Our practice has been around since 1964 and has family atmosphere with up-to-date equipment and treatment ability.
I'm always looking for ways to improve our practice and offer new and exciting technologies to our patients. My care philosophy is very patient centered. I enjoy visiting with my patients and getting their view of their bodies so that I can give them a customized treatment plan that suits their needs. I enjoy feeling happy with them as they improve their level of function and comfort."
