Did not address concerns after multiple visits, and was both rude and condescending after I offered my own diagnosis and thoughts on what was going on. His knowledge and treatment options for the specific condition I was seeing him for were extremely out of date. I was essentially told to wait for my symptoms to worsen and return later. I had to ask him to examine me physically, and he was not thorough at all. He was so interested in dismissing my concerns he was not able to make a positive diagnosis. Altogether, my appointments cost around $800 with an insurance copay, and Dr. Wolter was extremely dismissive my patient concerns. This was a complete waste of time, and money. I scheduled with a new urologist at a different clinic and have been receiving much better care. After a thorough physical examination they ordered a penile ultrasound and CONFIRMED the diagnosis I had been trying to give to Dr. Wolter. Do not blindly trust this Dr. because of the clinic he works at. Horrible!

Dr. Wolter did the DaVinci robot-assisted sacrocolpopexy and sling surgery in 2011 at Mayo Clinic. I was in and out in 24 hours. I have not had any problems. I found Dr Wolter to have a pleasant bedside manor and he explained the procedure and what to expect in terms that I could understand. I would like to recommend him! But I am having trouble finding him. (No longer at Mayo?)

Following surgery for prostate cancer I was left with very troublesome urinary incontinence. My local doctor advised a male sling procedure. I went to Dr Wolter for an outside opinion. After his assessment he explained I would not be served well with the sling procedure and he recommended the artificial urinary sphincter AMS 800. It has been several months since my surgery and I'm so pleased. It truly is a life-changing procedure. Special thanks to Dr KXG.
