He completed his general surgery internship under the world-renowned heart surgeon, Dr. Michael Debakey, MD, before moving on to his neurosurgery residency at Texas Medical Center, part of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. A leader in the use of new treatments and technologies in neurological surgery, Dr. Tomaras joined Polaris Spine & Neurosurgery in 1998. Dr. Tomares removed 3 discs and fused 5 discs. (Excuse my laymen language.). It's been 3 weeks. I am doing so well.
