He completed his general surgery internship under the world-renowned heart surgeon, Dr. Michael Debakey, MD, before moving on to his neurosurgery residency at Texas Medical Center, part of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. A leader in the use of new treatments and technologies in neurological surgery, Dr. Tomaras joined Polaris Spine & Neurosurgery in 1998. Dr. Tomaras received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Tennessee, where he graduated with highest honors and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Tomaras took more time than the other doctors in this office. Out of the few I've seen at Polaris, he is the one I would see again, just not at the Polaris location. The other providers' energy is very negative, and only clouds Dr. Tomaras' presence.
