This content was provided by Dr. Steen "Dr. Steen born in Austria, and grew up several locations in Europe. He graduated from Gonzaga University in 2000 with a major in Biology. He attended the University of Washington School of Dentistry, and graduated in 2004 (DDS). He then moved to New Orleans, Louisiana to train as an intern at Charity Hospital. He was then accepted to the prestigious Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery program at LSU. As part of his training, he completed medical school at LSU (MD) as well as a combined general surgery/neurosurgery residency year. He completed his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at LSU with an interest in dental implant reconstruction and orthognathic surgery. Dr. Steen was very happy to join Dr. Brian Rubens in 2011, and has been with the practice (formerly, Drs. Rubens & Steen) ever since. In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. Steen enjoys teaching. He lectures regularly at his local study club, and teaches residents at Swedish Medical Center. "
