Dr Sherman is the only Dr. that we have ever had that actually was available to return an email in a reasonable time frame and responded to the situation without having some assistant that didn’t know the situation respond with useless information. Dr. Sherman responded specifically to the points in reference to our needs. Thank you very much Dr. Sherman

Dr. Sherman is a wonderful surgeon. He takes time to explain the procedure and also allows patients to ask questions and voice any concerns. He is extremely knowledgeable and cares about his patients. This is my second surgery (two different incidents) and he is excellent. My pain level has gone from 10 to zero now.
His staff is also very courteous. In such a difficult time of my life they made it easier with their empathy and kindness.

Dr. Sherman was the on call orthopedic trauma surgeon when I fell while on vacation from Arizona. He did an excellent job with my hip replacement. I feel fortunate that he was there. He was easy to talk with and available for questions. He told me after the surgery that I was a young 75 year old and to get out there and enjoy life. And thanks to him I am able to do so.

Memorial Day will be memorable as I fell from a ladder and broke my hip. My good fortune was that Dr. Sherman was the trauma surgeon on duty. I was terrified about this injury as I am on MediCal and an older patient. I thought a broken hip would cause me to be sedentary and shorten my life. Dr. Sherman recognized that I live a more active life and assured me that the repair would allow an active lifestyle and I’d regain most functionality. At 6 weeks, I have resumed weight training and am still in PT at this time. Most of my daily function is good with minimal discomfort. The hip and incision have healed beautifully. He took amazing care to listen to me and to alleviate fears. He is highly skilled and his staff is very caring.

Dr. Sherman and his staff were all very personable, caring and professional. Dr. Sherman gave me a new hip and the surgery went amazing! He is the man!
I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Sherman for your surgery. Well worth the trip from wherever you may live to have Dr. Sherman do your surgery.

How fortunate I was to have Dr. Sherman as the orthopedic surgeon on call when I fell and broke my arm and hip while vacationing on Coronado Island. After my hip surgery, Dr. Sherman and his staff were always encouraging and quick to respond to any and all questions I had during office visits and by email. Thank you Dr. Sherman, Katie, and entire office staff -you're the best!

My husband was in a serious auto accident and Dr. Sherman was the Orthopedist on call. How lucky we were!! Not only has my husband healed nicely and is once again walking, after the first few days in the hospital, he had very little pain. Once he began walking, there was no pain at all in the area operated upon. A patient I met in the waiting room also thought he was outstanding. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Sherman saved my husband’s life and his ability to walk in the future. He performed trauma surgery on his fractured pelvis after a cataclysmic car accident that almost killed him. Dr. Sherman is a no nonsense guy and his demeanor is truthful, positive and flowing. His staff also reflects the same. Dr. Sherman is highly recommended. He is simply the best! Operated on my mother’s hip she is almost 96 and he did it quickly so as to minimize anesthesia effect...she is incredible....and he is so caring and treating her as if she was so much younger...he wants her to be perfect!

I went to doc Sherman for help to fix a failed ankle fusion. I was quickly assisted by his staff as we did tests and CT Scan in preparation for surgery. Dr Sherman and his staff were extremely attentive to me while I was hospitalized and in rehab. The ankle fusion he did was closing and progressing extremely well at 6 weeks post op. It continues to heal well at 10 weeks. The
previous failed fusion never did close after 1 yr. I enthusiastically give my highest recommendation to Dr Sherman.

As a former triathlete, marathon runner, hiker and golfer my hip developed arthritis at 61 years old. Dr Sherman recommended conservative treatment of anti-inflammatories, ice, physical therapy and finally cortisone injection. When all these failed to decrease my hip pain and mere walking was painful I had surgery. Five days later I was walking with 1 crutch, at 2 weeks stationary bike and less pain walking than before surgery. Couldn't be happier with the care I received and post-op results.

I feel so fortunate that Dr. Sherman performed my hip surgery. He is one of the select few doctors who specializes in anterior hip replacement, which allows for a fully non-restrictive range of motion during recovery following the surgery. Also, whenever I had concerns, Dr. Sherman made sure he responded to every one of my questions. This helped me feel more confident in undergoing this major operation. I highly recommend Dr. Cris Sherman to anyone having hip pain or considering hip surgery.
