Such a smart and knowledgable Doctor. Helped me with my knee and shoulder problem. I was impressed that he was not accepting of the radiology report of my MRI. Most of my doctors in the past would never go against the report but he was not convinced of his findings. Very up to date with newest info that comes out and just an overall good guy. Very nice bedside manor and makes you feel very comfortable. Spends a great deal of time explaining options, risks, etc.

Dr. Raffo says...

I specialize in the treatment of adult and pediatric sports medicine and orthopedic disorders.  Surgically, I specialize in arthroscopic shoulder and knee surgery.

My practice philosophy is to treat each patient in a professional, cordial, and both time and cost-efficient manner.  I coordinate care with a team of athletic trainers and physical therapists to provide comprehensive orthopedic care in the office, employing the latest techniques (such as PRP) to rehab your injuries in a non-surgical environment.  When surgery is necessary, you will get the most modern arthroscopic techniques (when appropriate).

Finally, our office culture is geared around customer service.  We are constantly trying to improve our office based experience.  We understand that everyone's life is busy and we make the appointment about you.

Dr. Raffo says...

I focus on several main procedures.  In the shoulder, I focus on arthroscopic treatment of rotator cuff and associated disorders (for adults normally) and on the treatment of instability and labral disorders in young adults and children.

In the knee, I focus on arthroscopic ligament surgery, meniscus surgery and the treatment of articular cartilage disorders.

This constellation of procedures encompasses over 80% of my surgeries.  I would be happy to consult with you if you have one of these conditions.
