Dr. Pokabla and his team (Mrs. Grissom, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Addison, Mrs. Quarles, Jennifer, & Savannah) have been instrumental in my speedy recovery of shoulder surgery! I trust Dr Pokabla that this was my second shoulder surgery (left & right) I am a very active person in which Dr Pokabla and his team paid special attention too, but no more ice climbing. Also, I had a few Tricare insurance issues, but they continued my care and PT until those issues were fixed. They are very understanding with rescheduling appointments and became like family. If I had a third arm and need shoulder surgery, I would definitely go back to Dr Pokabla and his team at Orthosouth in Memphis, TN. Thank you so much! ????

Dr. Pokabla performed a RTC surgery on my right shoulder after a car accident at work. What a wonderful job he did. Minimal scarring and maximum use of my shoulder. In a very short time I was back to lifting weights, throwing a softball and performing all of my duties with absolutely no pain or problems with motion. Dr. Pokabla and his staff were very attentive and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Pokabla and his staff when it comes to a shoulder injury or any other orthopedic type injuries.

Dr. Pokabla did a Bankhart repair on my shoulder because of a rotator cuff surgery. Surgery went really well. Did 8 weeks of physical therapy and I now have greater range of motion on that arm than in the uninjured one. Plus my scars were very small and have practically faded away already. I would highly recommend him for shoulder issues.

Multiple shoulder tears requiring surgery. DR Pokabla and his staff work with you. Instead of just saying quit and be sedentary, he understands us that want to remain active. I also required special paperwork for work and his staff was very patient and helpful with those documents. If I could put more stars I would.

Had my cuff & biceps tendon done. Removed bone spurs, etc. Would have appreciated more post-op info from Dr. However, 4 1/2 months later I am thrilled with the results! No question in my mind Pokabla and assistant (Lacy) are extremely talented. I thank them both! Re: PT. I think 1 or 2 pre-op PT visits would help tremendously. Either way, do what they tell you post-op! Can't stress that enough. Lastly, the PT group in Bartlett is great! They made the whole repair complete. Thanks to them as well

I had my left shoulder operated on by Dr. Christopher Pokabia a couple of years ago. He did a great job. I have 100% range and motion and strength back. Doc did his part and I did what he said with therapy. He is friendly, makes you very comfortable and spent the time with me that I needed to understand the surgery and healing process. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Pokabla was researched by my sister when broke my elbow June28, 2018. We decided that Dr. Pokabla was more than qualified to perform surgery on my elbow. Since I am presently on blood thinners, he took the necessary precautions when performing this procedure. I am extremely pleased with the outcome. He restored full use of my elbow and arm. He is a very confident and positive physician. I highly recommend Dr. Pokabla. Hats off to Dr. Pokabla!

Dr. Pokabla is such a sweet doctor. I love his spirit and personality. He and his team where so understanding and caring and they wanted what was best for me. I had rotator cuff surgery on August 14, 2018. The surgery went smooth. He was very concerned about my well being. I am 3 1/2 months post surgery and I am able to use my arm like I was before I started having problems. Kudos to Dr. Pokabla and his staff. I recommend him if you are having problems.???????????? ??????????

I just had shoulder surgery several months ago and I am so thankful that it was Dr. Pokabla that performed this surgery. If you are having shoulder issues he is your guy. He is very good at what he does. I'm very active, so its good to be back doing the things I like to do. MOG and Dr. Pokabla definitely made the experience easier than I had expected.
