I had a double knee 5 yrs ago and they are failing me again . 6 weeks after my double knee he needed to go in again to rearrange things . I would certainly NOT recommend this Dr .

THE BEST. Dr.Pelt is outstanding. Staff is incredible. As a cancer survivor(surgeries, chemo, radiation), I am quite apprehensive about more medical treatment. I needed a total hip replacement. I did my research and met with 3 surgeons. I selected Dr.Pelt. I am SO glad I did. Dr. Pelt is a perfectionist. For surgery, I chose a spinal block vs.general anesthesia. I was very nervous to choose this, but Dr. Pelt and staff reassured me. It went PERFECTLY. I regained my sense of safety within an OR.

I think Dr. Pelt according to reputation is a skilled surgeon. But as a doctor, a healer I find him very lacking. To quote him, "Your medical concerns are not my problem, it is up the anesthologist".After filling out three long forms to have a doctor not read it and not ask questions is beyond me. And what scares me more is he is teaching fellow doctors how to be surgeons. I would call him a technician, rather than a healer. I would give him a 0 (failure) as a physician.
