The "athlete" doctor is more concerned with his ego than working with patients. I've never encountered a doctor more self absorbed and full of himself! I would recommend avoiding this one.

Dr. Martin performed the HOLEP procedure on me 8 weeks ago. It turned out better than I ever expected. Other than the catheter the first 2 days after surgery, I had no pain at all. All of my symptoms from the enlarged prostate are gone. I am back to all normal activities including strenuous exercise. I am 58 years old and Dr. Martin has made every day of my remaining life better. He spends as much time as needed in the office and answers every question patiently. The office staff and hospital staff were all excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Martin!

I am 3 months out from HoLEP surgery performed by Dr Martin. I could not be happier with the results. The first night after surgery with the large urinary catheter in place was a bit difficult, but I got through it. There was a lot of blood in the bag. The next morning I failed the urination test and had to have a smaller, more comfortable catheter inserted. 2 days later I passed the urination test and was able to leave the catheter out. After that, my urine flow was like in my 30's. I did have some occasional leakage after that, which improved over the next few weeks with Kegel exercises. Blood in the urine decreased and disappeared over about 2 weeks. Gradually my bladder seem to stabilize to the point of having very little urgency now. The only side effect now seems to be a dry orgasm. The feeling is very nearly the same, so I am not complaining. I can heartily recommend Dr Martin to anyone contemplating this surgery. Go for it!

Interestingly, I’ve never seen Doctor Martin. After waiting over an hour and 15 minutes for my first appointment in an overcrowded waiting room and hallway, I walked out. Why their computer system thinks I’ve seen them is more unusual than waiting in the reception room. So we’re Dr. Martin might be a great doctor, the office is pathetic and I’ll not return.

I was treated very compassionately and yet at the same time, the atmosphere in the office was very professional. Communication about the hospital procedure was complete and all of my questions were answered. Post-procedure treatment was outstanding. Thank-you to Dr. Martin.

Dr. Martin started nice. At the last minute, without consulting or asking, changed the surgical method "its easiest for me." Leaving me with such pain, open incisions, a glob of glue, no stitch. Not 1 blood pressure measurement, sends me to do yoga and exercise, after removing my kidney, since he did no research, and picked the pain management next to his office. Now I'm in pain, refuses to treat me, swollen testicle, due to his incompetent surgery, Passing on the buck. Be weary. Now I'm spending hundreds fixing what he left broken with more providers, exposing me to covid. Truly malicious treatment. Rolling his eyes at my anxiety at cancer and pain. Not 1 vital of blood pressure, when removing the organ which controls it. Now, off to a cardiologist, or his only suggestion, "go to the er." If you value your health, seek care elsewhere!

I was petrified when a good looking young doctor walked in. However he was a soft spoken, understanding and very knowledgeable! He made me completely feel at ease. I may never be able to fully look him in the eyes but I felt like I had the perfect doctor for my issue.

Dr. Martin was referred by my Urologist of the past 9 yrs, [Dr. Borhan]. I was to have surgery for BPH utilizing a laser method known as HOLEP. I trusted this referral and am pleased that I did. Dr. Martin was very explanatory and answered any and all of my questions. It is now 6 weeks since my surgery and I am very pleased with my progress and healing. I am 73 years of age and did not know how well I would heal. It is my opinion that his skill and concern facilitated this rapid healing. Anyone in need of this procedure would be wise to consult with this physician. I highly recommend him. Dr. Richard A. DeMark Phoenix, AZ
