I had a Taylor bunion surgery over 2 years ago which was supposed to be a pretty safe surgery. The Anesthesiologist that Dr. Hyer used gave me a nerve block without using any ultra sound device and in doing so permanently damaged two nerves. I've had two emg's to confirm the damage.... very disappointing so be aware at least in my case, it didn't turn out well at all.

Without dr. Hyer and his PA, Austin, i wouldn’t be able to walk. He has performed 3 successful surgeries on my feet and helped me recover from them. He doesn’t always have a ton of time but he spends the time he has with you well, and i appreciate that. He gives you every option and his professional opinion on each of those options and does not pressure you to choose an option you’re not comfortable with. He’s not “surgery happy”. I recommend him time and time again to my friends.

Dr. Hyer did my ankle-fusion surgery. Even though I will always have a slight limp due to the fusion I am so glad I had this surgery. Dr. Hyer and his staff has always been very kind, respectful, knowledgeable and class acts all the way. I was always confident that he would get my problem taken care of. I highly recommend him.
