Amazing surgeon.
After my automobile accident, I broke my right index finger in three places (my finger was snapped sideways). Dr. Henley was instantly able to get me in and perform surgery to put pins in, and realign my finger in no time. Dr. Henley waste no time and gets straight to the point. His surgery work was great and allowed me to heal very quickly!!

Irritable Attitude
Played phone tag with his scheduler for an entire month until finally getting put on the schedule. Staff was kind and efficient despite being swamped, which was nice. However, Dr. Henley seemed frustrated that I was even there, and had a defensive tone when answering basic questions like "how long does something like this typically take to heal?"

I saw Dr. Henley for my finger after I was referred to him by urgent care. My first appointment was rushed and vague, and he ordered unnecessary x-rays and never went over them with me. I went to him for a follow-up and it was once again rushed and vague. My finger was still crooked and tender, and when I brought up the fact it looked bent as he was about to rush out of the door he said, “Oh yeah, you’re right,” and proceeded to give me a totally different diagnosis and course of action. I’m glad I brought up how my finger looked (obviously) bent or else it would have healed that way. Both times it felt like he totally discounted my injury and just wanted to bill me and get me out of the door.

Excellent Experience
Dr. Henley treated my hands and wrist. He was knowledgeable and explained things clearly. He discussed different treatments and suggested what he thought was best, but the decision was mine. After surgery, he was helpful explaining what to expect. He was very reassuring. If I ever need these services, I will not hesitate to return.

Doctor displayed an impatient and uncaring attitude. His office staff scheduled visit for my symptoms/complaint (hand pain), and doctor acted like I shouldn't be there because my complaints were "vague." No formal assessment, no help with clarifying symptoms, no thoughtful recommendations about where I might go for help. Long wait time when I arrived early for my appointment. Had completed paperwork online, but office staff asked me to do it again.

I found him to be extremely cold, and missing patient skills. Seems like he thinks himself to good for us patients and we are privileged to be under his care. lHe didn’t explain about my trigger finger or carpal tunnel. Just said I can do injections or surgery with out explaining surgeries. I tried to call my husband so he could see for himself this doctors attitude. I cannot recommend him to anyone and will be changing doctors

I went to Dr Henley, and staff, regarding de quervain's tenosynovitis. After two injections, Dr Henley suggested I have surgery. I couldn't be any more pleased about the process, and all involved. The surgery was performed at The SurgCenter and their staff was just as phenomenal. I am THOROUGLY impressed and would highly recommend all involved.

After suffering from severe pain after shoulder surgery and unable to reach the surgeon, my husband was connected to Dr. Henley, the on call doctor in the same practice. The pain delivery device and the pain pills were not alleviating his pain and Dr. Henley was cold and completely unhelpful. He said he wasn’t familiar with the device he was given and offered no additional assistance. He could have at least contacted one of his associates for advice or even shown some inkling that he cared at all. Hope he or someone he loves never has to go through 24 hours of excruciating pain and get someone like him on the phone to help. This is why I avoid doctors at all costs and choose mostly women doctors for myself. They just don’t seem to care.

I had arthritis in my right thumb, which was treated by Dr. Henley. He was very thorough and explained everything from what to expect after the cortisone injection I had to the possibility of surgery if the shot wasn't effective. Since I still had pain, I chose surgery and went into it knowing exactly what to expect from the beginning. Dr. Henley, his staff and the staff at the hospital provided excellent care and answered all questions. I have very good use of my thumb and am pain free.

The nurses at the surgery center were friendly and informative. The post op instruction sheet is very helpful. I was glad the nurse explained that washing the stitches after removing the bandages was a one time thing and they needed to stay dry after that; the instruction sheet wasn't clear on that. Also having never had a narcotic and the bowel issues associated with that, I would recommend taking a stool softener while on the narcotic.

I work in the medical field and expect a lot from offices. My granddaughter saw him for a finger fracture yesterday, maybe he was having a bad day. But, he was less than pleasant to a 5 year old little girl. After waiting an long time she experienced a coughing attack, she has been sick. My daughter asked to get her a drink of water. He didn't answer went out the door and came back 10 minutes later. People talk, and they ask opinions of who they should see... he won't be one we recommend.

Very unfriendly. But more important, clueless. Couldn't tell us a simple diagnosis that others found easily. Expect maybe 3 mins tops during visit.

I decided to have Dr Henley do my carpal tunnel surgery and I am very happy with the results! My symptoms are completely gone. The interaction with his staff was very professional and efficient. I am a local physician as well. When your livelihood depends upon it, I would unequivocally reccomend him for carpal tunnel sydrome. Best Regards, Local physician

Dr. Henley repaired a crushed elbow for me (8 hour surgery) four years ago. He fully explained what he was doing before and during my follow up visits. He was always very kind and compassionate, and I never felt as if he were hurrying through my appointments. I am happy to report that my elbow works almost as if nothing ever happened to it. I would and have recommended Dr. Henley to anyone in need of a hand or arm surgeon.

He seems to really enjoy helping people. very professional plus quite friendly and engaging. He was honest and factual concerning the pros and cons of my carpal tunnel procedure. July of 2016 he did my left wrist and in two weeks did my right wrist. Second day for each hand, I had no symptoms. I could drive, mow, write, type without my hands going to sleep. And "I" can sleep all night without waking up with a hand and arm aching. and make chords on guitar. super pleased. Larry C.
