Drove from New Jersey to find a surgeon I could trust. A friend who is a nurse at his hospital put me on to him. Best in the business, speaks in simple english and he fixed my neck with a disk replacement. One night in the hospital and I am doing great.

After having seen Dr. Good a few years ago, I had low back fusion with another surgeon (mistake). After surgery, I had foot slap and the fusions didn't take. Luckily, Dr. Good took me back and he fixed the first mistake. I should have gotten it right the first time around, Dr. Good is the best and now Im on the road to recovery!
I saw Dr. Good for 1 year post-op today. After years of pain and 3 failed surgeries, Dr. good did a re-do fusion on my back and I am back to work as a firefighter! I trust him over all others, everyone else kept telling me fusion was "just fine" when in reality it had never properly mended!! Thank you Dr. Good and Virginia Spine!

Uses scare tactics to recommend expensive operations. Get second opinion before you commit to this doctor.
Note from Dr. Good: As a doctor and a surgeon, I work very hard to review my patient's medical conditions and their options with them, both non-operative and operative. When I recommend surgery, it is because I feel it is in the patient's best interest. I treat the vast majority of my patients successfully without surgery and any recommendation I make is based simply on what I think will help to improve the patient's quality of life now and in the future. -Dr, Good

Dr Good performed my extensive surgery 2 1/2 yrs ago reconstructing my spine from L4 up to T10. My family and I can't say enough about his abilities, professionalism, compassion and ability to connect to his patient. Every step of the way we were fully informed and he patiently listened to and answered dozens of our questions. His staff is as amazing as he is and it is clear that being one of the best in his field he surrounds himself with extremely compentant professionals.

Excellent Staff, thorough exam and evaluation, and Dr. Good spent over a hour explaining my options, what he would do if he was in my shoes, and how the process would work. Listened and answered every question I had and has a excellent bed side manner. I have recommended him to several co-workers, friends and family members, I had back issues over 10 years, and was 4 yrs out from a micro laminectomy, with little relief, within a week of 2 level ALIF I was feeling minimal pain . Highly Recommend.

Had one level lumbar fusion with robotics used. Excellent , improved almost immediately. Pain lessened dramatically within days. Therapy continues under his care. Had complicated compression issues which affected ability to use legs and he was able to handle. Have recommended him to friends who are in constant pain,
