Insensitive and very arrogant. If you're overweight, DO NOT visit this office, your self esteem will suffer because of it.
in Silver Spring, MD |
Dr. Farrell has become one of the most insensitive Doctor ever. Injured at work and as a former patient, I went on hoping to get a 2nd opinion on an MRI. He made this visit more about me being obese and implying that is the reason for all of my issues. He did not take into consideration a fall on my back on concrete pavement had nothing to do with it. Such a waste of time. I left offended with no information pertaining to my injury and noted on my paperwork an incorrect symptom.
in Rockville, MD |
My experience with Dr Farrell was so different from the other two reviewers. I saw him because I was experiencing hip pain. He determined the problem was not orthopedic but was in fact a complication of other medicine I was taking. (Neither the dr who prescribed the medicine nor my general practioner made this diagnosis). Despite the fact that it was not an orthopedic issue, he still followed up with me when I was in the hospital. Would highly recomend.
in New Castle, DE |
Not engaged. Even though the Xrays are in the same building, it is a separate appointment and wait time. I just didn't like the guy. He also ignored the diagnosis of a previous doctor, which has since been proven correct. Overall, would not recommend to... anyone.
Laurel, MD |
Not helpful to me at all. I went to him because I thought that I dislocated my shoulder. The dislocation was ruled out at the emergency room but I was told to see an orthopedist immediately because I needed a MRI to see if my rotator cuff was torn or shoulder was separated. When I told Dr. Farrell that I had a collagen disorder, he wrote me off and told me to see a neurologist and a collagen disorder specialist. He was not interested in treating anyone with a complication like mine.
