I have visited Dr. Christopher Duma both for Gamma Knife leading edge a year ago as well as an his supervision of a MRI Spectroscopy / PET MRI Brain Oncologic recently conducted at the Hoag Hospital. His work was excellent His staff friendly Only problem he says things like discharge and forgets . Says he will call with biopsy did not. And when confronted not very nice. For these reasons I recommend him if you want a neurosurgeon in the burbs.

Dr Duma and his marvelous team got me tumor free (4 tumors!) within 6 weeks of diagnosis. Two surgeries and gamma knife therapy and I was only in the hospital a total of 4 days and missed only one week of work. He and his team were efficient, warm, friendly and optimistic. I love these people! Thank you!

Dr. Duma is impressive. He is professional and personable. It seems he is the only Gamma Knife specialist in town and he just might be the best. Unfortunately, the professionalism of his office staff does not sinc with Dr. Duma's. From the office manager down to the receptionist, At the other end of the phone at Dr. Duma's office, you will find unprofessionalism, disorganization, rudeness and poor communication. Perhaps because Dr. Duma is never in the office. I don't blame him.

I have been seeing Dr. Duma since January 2013, when he did my brain surgery for Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM). He is an excellent surgeon. He is also a pioneer of the Gamma Knife procedure for GBM, which he used on me in October 2014, when my tumor had begun to spread. I credit that procedure and his skill for the quality of life I have today. I go in for follow ups every 3 months but I have been in remission since that time.

Dr. Duma saved my life. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer which metastasized to my brain. Dr. Duma performed 5 gamma knife procedures and 3 craniotomies 5 years ago. I'm still here and I thank Dr. Duma for his caring and his skill. I still see him for check ups and he is still as charming as ever. God bless him.

Dr. Christopher Duma is a top flight surgeon. He preformed gamma knife surgeries on multiple tumors of the brain for me. This has during February and March of this year. There are no new or active tumurs as of July 2, 2016. Great news thanks to GOD and a great surgeon like Dr. Duma.
