Dr. Dodson is one of the most skilled, intelligent, and welll spoken surgeons in Philadelphia and surrounding areas. He takes his time to listen to you and he explains everything very thoroughly. If you are going to trust anyone with treating/ fixing your injury, this is the man you want to go to.

I tore my ACL in my left knee playing pickup basketball. As soon as it happened, I knew something was wrong. The next day, I called a close friend of mine in the medical field and explained my condition. Without hesitation, he recommended that I see Dr. Christopher Dodson at the Rothman Institute. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Dodson, Melissa Scheller – PA, and the entire staff at Rothman. I would encourage anyone going through a similar ordeal to speak with them first.

I was very concerned about the severity of my injury and the length of time for recovery. Dr Dodson took the time to explain in detail my injury, the surgery and what I would face in recovery. I was completely prepared.

As a physical therapist who required knee surgery I did a lot of research on the right surgeon. Simply stated, Dr. Dodson promised me a return to sport & function when others couldn't. He lived up to his promise while maintaining bedside manner that has been lost by many other surgeons. I have even referred my father to him.
