Excellent treatment for acl replacement. From the first visit straightforward approach. I never had a second thought about proceeding with surgery. The post op program that he has is great to get you back to your former self.

Dr. Dodson was great and so was his entire team. The level of attention I received during each one of my visits both before and after my surgery was amazing. I was given the opportunity to ask as many questions as I needed and never felt rushed. He didn’t talk at me he talked with me - Which made me feel like part of my own care plan. He knew my goals and assured me I would be able to reach them. Dr. Dodson got me back on track and now I can continue training for my upcoming triathlons. Would recommend Rothman and Dr. Dodson without hesitation.

I could not have been more satisfied with the care & attention I received from Dr. Chris Dodson. He spent a great deal of time with me during my exam, diagnosis and follow up visits. When he later recommended meniscus surgery, I was confident I would have an excellent result. I felt no pain at all after surgery, and had a very easy recovery due to his excellent surgical skills. Dr. Dodson is not only a fine surgeon, but is a warm, caring individual. Thanks to him, I am "back in action."

Dr. Dodson performed a challenging AC Joint repair on me, and was awesome all around. He was personable and spent a lot of time with me before the surgery and during the post-op appointment to make me feel comfortable and answer all my questions. The quality of his work is also fantastic, and he has a great network of colleagues and mentors to draw from for support. I highly recommend him for orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Chris Dodson is a surgeon who I truly respect. He saved my knee from having two unnecessary surgeries- a meniscus tear and a lateral release, the latter which may have resulted in numerous surgeries. Thanks to Dr. Dodson, I've spared my knee from unnecessary surgeries and I will always be tremendously grateful for his practical, conservative approach. He spent time at HSS and agreed with a surgeon there on my knee, he's top notch! I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Dodson!

I tore my ACL in my left knee playing pickup basketball. As soon as it happened, I knew something was wrong. The next day, I called a close friend of mine in the medical field and explained my condition. Without hesitation, he recommended that I see Dr. Christopher Dodson at the Rothman Institute. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Dodson, Melissa Scheller – PA, and the entire staff at Rothman. I would encourage anyone going through a similar ordeal to speak with them first.

As a physical therapist who required knee surgery I did a lot of research on the right surgeon. Simply stated, Dr. Dodson promised me a return to sport & function when others couldn't. He lived up to his promise while maintaining bedside manner that has been lost by many other surgeons. I have even referred my father to him.
