For many months unrelenting headaches and neck pain made it difficult to function. A neurologist made diagnosed me as experiencing migraine headaches and prescribed medication that didn't provide relief. I made an appointment with Dr. Castro for a second opinion. He listened attentively to my thoughts and pain issues and diagnosed pinched nerves in the neck area. A procedure was quickly scheduled for appropriate injections to the area and within a week, the headaches were gone!

I've been a patient here for 5 years now. Dr. Castro and his assistant Kathy are both excellent. I have multiple orthopedic issues and have to live with quite a bit of pain. They listen sincerely to my issues and explain in detail everything that's going on and how they can help me. Since I have been a patient here my pain is level is very minimal(4-6) and before (8-10).Between the procedures(RFA),epidurals, and low dose pain meds I am now for the past 5 years able to live a pretty normal life.

Dr Castro did an excellent job relieving my headaches but I do need to agree with another post about workman's comp, I don't feel my subjective complaints were taken seriously enough. I was released from pain management while still in pain and forced back into the court system for further treatment. My emails were not answered like they were before I was released. I think Dr Castro is a good doctor but under workman's comp, be prepared for difficulties. I blame the system more than the doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Castro and after seeing a different doctor for 2 years with no relief from back and foot pain, Dr. Castro identified what my medical issues were and immediately started treatment. He listened to my symptoms and by the end of my appointment I knew what my pain was being caused by and how to treat it. I needed foot and ankle surgery and several procedures to my back. I am very grateful to Dr. Castro.

I have been seeing Dr. Castro for over 2 years, for pain management. There are no numbers to describe the level of pain I was experiencing, two herniated spinal disks. I lay in bed for over a week, in tears. Dr. Castro had previously treated my pain with a spinal injection, so I tried his expertise once again. RELIEF!!!!!! It wasn't instant, but over the course of 3 days, I was back to being pain-free again. He took the time to evaluate, instruct, and treat.

Terrible bed side manner! Not one single pain issue was addressed by this guy and instead of saying I can't help you, he told me to get a cane! Stay away from this jerk and this joke of a practice

I have been suffering from hip & back pain for 25 years due to car accident & work related injuries. I have tried everything from PT to chiropractic (which helped during the early days after the accident ) as I grown older the pain & ability to work & enjoy life worsened. After seeing Dr Castro & going through an evaluation we began treatments with injections. I am like a new man again, hip pain is gone for 6 months now & the back pain about 7 months now, It's amazing! He's the best!!

Dr. Castro is a caring and superb physician. I presented with severe sciatica, and had not been able to sleep more than two hours a night for over three weeks. His expert knowledge and holistic approach had me sleeping that evening, and I have recovered to the point of zero pain. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Castro to my family and friends- he is excellent.

As all the others have stated, Dr. Castro was very kind. I didn't feel at all dismissed or silly when I started explaining my symptoms. After first round of epidurals I am pain free and standing straight again. Feels great. .

When I first saw Dr. Castro he listen to me and didn't dismiss my pain. He sat with me and explained what he thought my problem was. He came up with a treatment plan for me. Then discussed the plan with me. I decided to go ahead with the treatment. Now at the end of my treatment and therapy I'm very pleased with my out come.

While Dr Castro is a very nice guy he refused my repeated requests to order an MRI. He treated me based on an x-ray only. I finally went to a different doctor after a year, who ordered an MRI and discovered I had a herniated disc at L4-L5
