I had suffered hemifacial spasm for 10 years, after trying different medications, acupuncture, botox, etc. My only option was microvascular decompression surgery (MVD). It was a difficult decision. When I started to look for a doctor in my area all pointed in the direction of this wonderful doctor. He took the trouble to answer all my questions and gave me the confidence to proceed. The surgery was a complete success. He returned the smile to my face. He changed my life. Thank you doctor.

My husband had the best care with Dr Christopher Bogaev for his Trigeminal Neuralgia from the first office visit through the decompression surgery and after care. Explaining everything along the way it was a very nice experience for such a scary procedure and such a relief after years of suffering.

After being diagnosed with a posterior falx meningioma I was referred to Dr. Bogaev to discuss potential surgery. I have worked in the local San Antonio medical field for many years and specifically in surgery. I'll be honest, the decision to let someone go in to your brain was a difficult one. The consensus across the board was UNANIMOUS that Dr. Bogaev was not just the local best choice but possibly the most logical and qualified Brain Surgeon "in the world". He has indeed blessed my life! PTL

What can I say about Dr. Bogav, simply THE BEST! and the kindest physician that I have ever seen. He is trustworthy with the highest level of expertise in his field. When out of the blue you are diagnosed with brain tumor your life goes upside down and you feel helpless and hopeless. I am glad that Dr. Bogaeve was there to remove my meningioma and help me to go back to my life as before. Thank you again.

I walked in the hospital 2 years ago to have a spinal lipoma removed. Was only having minimal pain and now I have had to have 5 surgeries since. Terrible nerve damage caused and my life was changed forever! I would never recommend him to anyone.

Our daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Dr Bogaev was our neurosurgeon for the removal. He was excellent in all aspects. His bedside manor is the best we have ever experienced. A true professional and we felt that he genuinely cared for us and what we were going through. He has a great positive attitude and speaks to you in terms you can understand. Love him and highly recommend him to everyone. Thanks doc.

I had a brain tumor near my brain stem and Dr. Bogaev did my brain surgery and he is an amazing and caring doctor. I would recommend him to anyone who is in need of the services he offers.
Dr. Bogaev is a life saver. He is one of the most caring, professional and experienced medical providers I have ever met. This is coming from someone who has worked in the medical field over twenty years. I would refer anyone in need at the drop of a dime. It's a shame however, that his staff is the reason I would not. You'd be lucky to ever receive a call back if you have a medical concern. If you did, good luck dealing with is rude staff.
