The best shoulder surgeon
Dr. Annunziata is the best in his field in every respect. His attitude and communication skills are wonderful. He thoroughly explained his thoughts in regards to my shoulder anatomy and illustrated the repair needed to heal my torn tissues, while patiently answering all my questions. His knowledge and surgery skills are exemplary. My surgery for a rotator cuff repair went well, and I have had little to no pain in the days following the surgery. He was recommended to me by hospital staff and friends, and I am in full agreement. The best.

Dr Annunziata is a stellar surgeon and human being. He exudes a warmth and genuine care for his patients’ health & well-being. I tore my rotator cuff and he was a straight shooter about what the surgery and lengthy recovery would entail, which I very much appreciated- and he was right on the money at each benchmark visit. I am in the homestretch of recovery (6 months later) and my muscles are almost fully recovered. Dr A was highly recommended to ME as one of the top “shoulder guys” in the area, and I was grateful to get on his docket when it was most beneficial for my schedule. I highly recommend Dr Annunziata without reservation. He was terrific!

I have seen Dr. Annunziata three times. Each time he has patiently listened, tested my strength through various movements, and answered my questions. Most recently he delivered grim news but did so in the best manner possible. He thoroughly explained my condition and present and future options. My confidence in him, his knowledge and abilities is exceptionally high.

I've been active in sports my whole life seen my fair share of orthos. Dr. Annunziata is of course qualified if he treats pro athletes like the Washington Football team in particular, so my confidence in his knowledge and skills prior to meeting him was of course very high. What I didn't anticipate was the level of genuine interest and attention he gave to me and my injury. Too often these days doctors make me feel like I am just another checked box in their daily schedule. Not Dr. Annunziata. He is a very genuine nice guy who cares for my healing! Can't recommend him enough!
